Learn more about Greece!

This is 8-year old Amarandi Barrett. She created a website about her travels in Greece, just for kids. Her website is http://www.greece4kids.com/. You can read her website like a story, clicking the arrow at the bottom of each page to go to the next page. Travel over to her site and learn all about what it would be like to take a trip to Greece, then come back and comment on what you learned. We can't wait to see what you come back with. This will get you all ready to read "Adventures in Ancient Greece" when we do our Europe study on Wednesday. Happy travels!

The food in Greece is really cool. If I went to Greece I would probably eat one of the Greek salads and eat eggs and bacon for breakfast. I would probably go to Greece in the summer so I could get the ice cream sunday! It would be real cool if I could go to Greece to learn everthing I could possibly ever learn about it!

How cool is it that your featured blog author commented here - all the way from Greece! Isn't blogging cool? The internet puts us across the world with only a click. Keep up the exciting work Fourth grade teachers and students!

I found out that Greece is famous for wool sweaters and how they come different colors. Some of the Greek food looks nasty. But, I would eat eggs and bacon. I wouldn’t get near the octopus. In the summer I would get ice cream. They have lots of animals in Greece, you can see some of those animals in America also. You can do lots of stuff in Greece that you can do here. Greece looks pretty cool. I would love to visit Greece.

the zoo in Greece sounds like it's smaller than the zoos we have in the U.S. but they were surprised to have a new zoo and it's probably very nice. I'd like to go some day. -----emily.s-----
