Grace for President!

Today we read our book of the month, "Grace for President" by Kelly Dipucchio. This book was a fun way to start a discussion about what we know (and want to know) about the presidential election. I know you still have many more questions after todays read aloud. Have no fear! I found the perfect site to fill you in on more about this very important topic.

Watch the fun videos and come back and share what you learned!

I learned that election day is the 1st Tuesday of Nov, but never Nov. 1st. On Jan 20 the new president will be sworn in. I also found out that the symbol for Democrats is a donkey and the symbol for the Republicans is an elephant. This was a cool website. Thank you Ms Launey! Bye!

I learned that you have to be 35 years or older to be the presiedent. You also have to be born in the USA.
Did you know
every four years the USA votes.

The 2 main parties are the Democratic and the Republican. The Democratic symbol is a donkey and the Republican symbol is a elephant.
That website was realy cool.
