Today we read our book of the month, "Grace for President" by Kelly Dipucchio. This book was a fun way to start a discussion about what we know (and want to know) about the presidential election. I learned that election day is the 1st Tuesday of Nov, but never Nov. 1st. On Jan 20 the new president will be sworn in. I also found out that the symbol for Democrats is a donkey and the symbol for the Republicans is an elephant. This was a cool website. Thank you Ms Launey! Bye!

This is an good website for kids because,it tells good infomation for children to be a president for when they grow up.By the way my son Brandon wants to be a president when he grows up.-Kiala's MOM.

every four years the USA votes.
The 2 main parties are the Democratic and the Republican. The Democratic symbol is a donkey and the Republican symbol is a elephant.

Wow! I learned a lot!
